The girls at Canfora have worked on an exclusive new version of the "Zoccolo": one of a kind shoes made with authentic vintage fabrics and 100% handmade in Italy.
Around in Italy since the early 13th century, the Zoccolo was definitely VERY fashionable in the 70's! They are wooden clogs with the covering of the entire foot so called because they are made of a "Zocco": log, branch, or stump.
At Bottega Egnazia, we have been giving new life to vintage fabrics since 2011.
Our styles and creations have been much copied.
Please bear in mind that, as with all fabrics - old and new - vintage fabrics and especially intricate laces and embroideries also come in different quality and craftsmanship.
